This is the 21st century – have you noticed that your smartphone has a camera and that it is better than any camera you have ever owned?
Remember when we used to carry cameras around and take photos of everything? People expect good photography and good images on your website and social media.
On your website, you do not need tiny images – you need beautiful big images that make your brand stand out.
Now if you don’t have time to take those images yourself, there are places online that will allow you to find beautiful images like that FOR FREE!

However, you need to be really careful because you can’t just take pictures from places like Google Images and use that for your own site.
You can see those, but you just cannot use them. Those are someone elses.
Now, I am going to recommend a few places where you can find free stock images that are perfect for you to use. That is what they are there for.
Pixabay
They have a brilliant selection of photos and they are easy to use and download.
Unsplash
I would describe them as magazine worthy photos. You can get things like San Francisco bridge, pelican on a dock, the mountains, and more. They are simply beautiful and stunning.
Gratisography
Now this one has unuusal photos, but extremely good quality. If you want quirky, this is a great place to find those types of images.
LifeofPix
These are well organized and magazine worthy.
Albumarium
Very well categorized. They have a black and white section that I just absolutely love. Again, black and white often stand out on social media.
Death to the Stock Photo
Every month, this site will send you an email full of new stock photos for you to use.
MorgueFile
This is a huge site and has tons of great photos. It is one of the best places to find photos.
Free Images
This is owned by Getty Images (which is a paid site), but they do have a free section – they have good photos here too.
Pexels
This one is one of my favorites. You can search by color, keyword, type of photo looking for and more. You can download them or save them. They are really easy to use.
SplitShire
Very stylish photos here and it is Italian I think?
Place It
This place has those cool photos that you can add writing on to add your name or a title or something like that onto an Ipad or computer.
It is really very clever.
There is a paid version, but they also offer a free version.
Animal Photos
Basically it is just animal photos, but they are beautiful and perfect when you want a picture of an animals.
Car Pictures
This is similar to the animals as that it has cars, trucks etc.
It is easy to find free images on the Internet.
Now, if you do want to pay for images, our favorite site is DollarPhotoClub.com.
Do not have poor photos and please — do not get caught by the image police!
