Today I want to talk about looking ahead. Now, this is kind of like a positive exercise for you. You can apply this to your life, but today we are talking about your business.
In business, it can be hard. There is nothing easy. You might think that it is easy for Apple and Google, but let me tell you — for Apple — no it isn’t.
Apple invented the ipad and it’s great, but everyone else saw the success and decided to jump on the bandwagon and create something similar and now ipad sells are slipping.
Other brands can easily undercut them with cheaper versions such as the Kindle, Kindle Fire, and such.

Look at Google. Google has this massive search engine that appears to rule the world. However, Google gives away stuff for free.
The main search engine is free — and it is available all over the world. They committees in Europe and everywhere. They want to make sure they don’t upset people.
They get continuous backlash all the time from people who think that they are doing evil things. And all the while this is going on, we expect it to work .
They have data centers everywhere in the world where they can deliver anything in a milisecond. Can you imagine how may computers they have that break down and get fixed all day long?
Everyone has problems, but if you can be positive and look towards the future to always progress, always looking ahead, that will help your entire mindset.
There are millions of things you can do to help this. Try and keep yourself fit, try and eat healthy, meditate (if that is your thing), and try to keep positive.
These things will help you.
In your daily business thoughts, look to the future and set yourself goals. Work towards them. Make sure you are progressing and don’t look back at what went wrong, and what happened before.
If you looked back and saw that something succeeded, you would still be doing that. Most of the reasons we look back are to place the blame on someone or something.
How does that help? All that does is just set your mind into a negative pattern. I just want you to think positively.
The other thing about looking forward is you can try new things. In our free marketing course, you will find something new. It will be delivered to your inbox daily and you can do it anytime you want.
You can recommend it to others, like I have said — there is no catch.
That will teach you some things you may not know. You may be a blogger, you may be an expert, but are you converting readers into leads?
Are those leads eventually being converted into customers?
Then are those customers being converted into giving referrals?
Do you know which type of articles work the best? Do you know which social media you should be using for a particular business?
This is just one way to learn something new. There are many other freebies and courses from others that can teach you as well.
This is a great way to learn and you don’t even have to leave your house (although the other day I did say you need to get your self surrounded by others).
I challenge you to find people who are your betters. By betters, I mean those people who are currently more successful than you.
They are currently making more money, they possibly have a bigger business, and are a step above you on the ladder of success.
Try and learn from them and see what made the different for them.
Then ask them what they would suggest you do to help your business grow like theirs. Honestly– people love this sort of thing.
I get emails all the time from people share what is or is not working in their business. I helped someone figure out some things that they can do make their Facebook page better.
Look to progress and not to go backwards.
