Are you are looking for some simple tools and inspiration to help your day-to-day business activities?
This page shows you what we use, who we admire and how we keep inspired.
1. Simple Tools For Your Business
If you are looking for the perfect tools to put your website into top gear as well as some other resources to help you run your business more easily, check out our favorite tools page.
Here you will find websites, hosting resources, and who we use for choosing domain names and such.
You will also find our favorite list of outsourcing resources — the places we go to when we need to outsource a project or writing opportunity.
We share our favorite email marketing and social media marketing tools, too.
2. Recommended Books
At Marketing for Owners, we love reading books. It is a great way to learn a lot of marketing help.
You can find a complete list of all the books that we recommend on the Monday edition of the podcast by going here. We have read each and every one of these and gleaned inspiration from all.
3. Influencers Worth Following
Every week on Wednesday during the Marketing for Owners podcast, we suggest a friendly follow for an influencer on Twitter.
We have chosen them because they use Twitter and social media effectively, and they can be modeled to help you succeed with your social media. If you want to learn how to be great at marketing, you have to find great marketers – and these are who we recommend.
4. Drive Time Podcast Suggestions
Anytime you are driving, shopping, cleaning house, or whatever you happen to be doing, you could be learning. You can listen to a podcast.
Every Thursday on the Marketing for Owners podcast, we recommend podcasts that show us how to grow our business.
This is how we learn and grow, so we have shared our favorite ones with you so that you can succeed, too. It’s updated weekly, so be sure to check back often.
5. The Weekend Challenge
Every Friday, we create a challenge for you to help you grow your business and yourself. These are best done on paper using just a regular old pen or pencil. The object here is to write down the steps you are going to take to move forward in your business.
We hope that each of these challenges inspire you as they have inspired us.
