The reason your current online marketing is not working is not your fault. It is quite important. Generally, the people in the web design game, are unaware of how your website should be created in order to generate sales.

Do you know what to actually do with your website once it is set up in the right way? There is not a lot of teaching out there and what is out there costs a lot of money.

Your marketing system has to have all of the working parts. For starters —

You Need a Website

Many people will tell you that you can use a Facebook page, a group, or even Google+, but no. You need to have an actual website.

It should not be on what they call rented ground.

Have a website and make sure it is one you can control and update. It needs to be on a content management system such as WordPress.

You Need to Be on Social Media

There are ways to manage your social media presence. You don’t need to be on it all day long. You need to set up a correct profile on all your social media platforms.

Specifically on Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin.

Target Customer

Just like everything else, you need to know who your target customer is. Everyone has one, and most comopanies will have more than one.

Work on that and build it from the ground up.

Lead Magnet

Once you get all the other things above done, then you need to create a lead magnet. This is a one page report, an ebook, etc that you use to draw potential customers to your website.

When they come to your website and see your free offer, then they will give their email address and this will put them on an email list.

You need to get the information of who looked at your website and what they are interested in. Don’t hope that they will visit again. Proactively get it from them.

Lead Nurture

You follow through a process of once you get them on the list, you have to get to know them, get them to like you, and then they will trust you. You can get your customers to buy from you in this way without having a store like Amazon. You can do everything in your power to impress them. They need to be impressed.
