Today I am going to talk to you about youtube videos. This can be a #1 source of great traffic for you if you do it right.
For instance — our podcast starts out as a youtube video and then we use that to re-purpose and make more content from that.

What I am going to tell you today is just really common sense. Some you are going to have heard before, but are you doing any of it?
These are 5 simple tips you can use and it will work — I promise you.
#1 Optimize Your YouTube Channel
For instance, you need to verify your account. Once you verify, it opens up a lot more features for you such as channel colors, opening video, etc.
Youtube is also like Google and has it’s own search engine so make the most of what you have there. You can even get your videos transcribed.
#2 A Branded Style
You need to have a branded style so that people recognize you. Use successful people on TV on how they do it. You already know who is who and which video is which, so try and brand yourself.
#3 Content
Instead of putting out things you think about, why not put out something that you think someone else might think about.
There are tons of questions out there and you can use a site like Quora.com to find out some of those.
#4 Calls to Action
At the end of your video, what do you want someone to do? Just put one on the end and ask yourself — now what, and answer that.
Now there are youtube cards and end screen so that you can install a call to action in your video.
#5 Promote Your Videos
The last and final step is to promote your video — do it on social, on Facebook, etc. Find the social media where your most engagement is and then upload it to your website.
